Explorer is an investigation experience over governed Enterprise Reality. It is not primarily BI or reporting, a dashboard, generic enterprise search, a document repository, a case-management replacement, an ERP or CRM replacement, a graph visualisation tool or an AI chatbot.
It helps a person investigate what is available, what supports it and what remains unresolved—without presenting Explorer as the authority that establishes Enterprise Reality.

The investigation model
Six questions for understanding a situation
These questions provide the intellectual structure for an Explorer investigation. They move from identity and available understanding towards evidence, context, justified conclusions and change over time.

Identity
What exists?
An investigation begins with a governed enterprise identity: a resident, property, tenancy, asset, agreement, organisation, event or case. The same identity may be represented differently across operational systems. Stable identity comes before any representation.

Reality
What is known about it?
Explorer reveals the governed understanding currently available about an identity or situation. It keeps incomplete information, uncertainty and conflicting observations visible rather than turning gaps into certainty.

Evidence
Why do we believe that?
Material facts and conclusions can be investigated towards their supporting evidence and provenance. An observation, its evidence and a conclusion remain distinct; evidence is not truth merely because it exists.

Relationships
How is it connected?
Relationships reveal enterprise context between governed identities. They help a person understand how a resident, tenancy, property, inspection and evidence belong to the same situation without reducing that context to a graph visualisation.

Decisions
What conclusions have been justified?
Explorer may reveal a conclusion, its evidential basis, its reasoning and relevant authority context. It does not make the decision or own the authority to act: conclusion, decision, authority and action remain separate.

Timeline
How has it changed over time?
Enterprise situations unfold through time. Explorer helps someone understand history and change, including missing or uncertain dates, rather than presenting only the latest application state.
