Preserving coherent enterprise understanding
Enterprise Reality is a programme for preserving coherent enterprise understanding independently of changing applications. It develops the governing ideas, architecture, executable capability and public experiences needed to understand real enterprise situations as a coherent whole.
Why it exists
The enterprise exists beyond its systems
Enterprises operate through many applications, each recording a partial view of people, places, obligations, events and decisions. The enterprise itself persists across and beyond those systems.
Without stable identity, relationships, events, evidence, provenance and history, that understanding becomes fragmented. Enterprise Reality provides a governed way to preserve the context needed to reason over real situations without mistaking a system record for the thing it represents.

What the programme is building
Related responsibilities, not a product catalogue
The programme brings distinct kinds of work into relationship. They are not interchangeable products, and their presence here does not make each one commercially available.

Programme stewardship
Authority is held before engineering begins
Enterprise Reality is governed through defined programme authority and engineering disciplines. Governing meaning comes first; architecture translates that meaning into bounded responsibility; engineering implements authorised work. Programme governance and release certification then evaluate a different question: whether an increment has completed its required lifecycle.
Engineering capability does not create engineering authority. Nor does implementation completion establish released state.

Public claims
Evidence and authority constrain what is said publicly
The public programme follows a simple discipline: public claims must be supported by established authority and evidence. This keeps public explanation constitutionally consistent and prevents the website from claiming more than the programme has actually established.
Knowledge is the public verification layer for this discipline. It distinguishes governing material, architecture, release standing and research rather than treating all published material as equivalent.
A bounded public record
The website is not the whole programme
This website is the approved public experience and public record. It intentionally exposes only material suitable for public release; it is not a mirror of the full internal programme repository.
Working drafts, governance material, implementation artefacts, internal engineering evidence, research and superseded material may exist without becoming public. Public eligibility comes before website exposure.
Visibility does not itself establish authority, current standing or commercial availability.
Research
Exploration remains distinct
Enterprise Reality includes research and exploratory work. Research may inform future authority, but it is not Canon or released capability merely because it is visible or useful.
Capability
Programme standing is not market availability
Implemented or released programme capability does not, by itself, claim customer deployment, public offering, production adoption or regulatory approval. The programme makes those boundaries explicit.
